At the end of the year, Honda Aircraft delivered 37 aircraft to customers around the world
According to the latest report from GAMA (General Aviation Manufacturers Association), the HondaJet is once again the most delivered business jet in its class (VLJ – very light jet) in 2018. At the end of the year, Honda Aircraft delivered 37 aircraft to customers around the world. It is noteworthy that a year earlier, HondaJet also topped the rating in the class of ultralight business jets.
“We are proud that our customers continue to choose the HondaJet for its unrivaled performance, efficiency and comfort. This, along with our strong global dealer network, has made the HondaJet the most delivered aircraft in its class. This is a testament to our team's commitment to developing leading edge technologies that improve the lives of our customers around the world, ”said Michimasa Fujino, President and CEO of Honda Aircraft Company.
Last year, at the European Business Aviation Exhibition EVACE 2018, Honda Aircraft Company presented an upgraded version of the light aircraft, which was named the HondaJet Elite.
In 2019, the manufacturer plans to supply customers with 4-5 aircraft per month.
According to the manufacturer, the newest lightweight HondaJet from Japan's Honda Aircraft is an everyday business jet. It accommodates up to 5 passengers and is certified to operate 1 pilot. The aircraft develops a cruising speed of up to 777 km / h with a practical flight range of over 2200 km. The HondaJet is equipped with Garmin's most advanced navigation system, the G3000, with a glass cockpit featuring three 14-inch displays with full touch controls. Passengers will be pleasantly surprised by a full-fledged toilet cubicle with an elegant cobalt blue washbasin; there is no separate room not only in classmates, but also in planes of a higher class. The HondaJet has a spacious luggage compartment that is even more spacious than in light business jets.
The HondaJet is uniquely configured with its engines mounted above the wing to increase cargo space, reduce cabin noise, especially during takeoff and landing, and reduce drag. Powerful engines and a lightweight composite fuselage deliver impressive climb rates – the HondaJet climbs 1220 meters per minute.
In Russia and the CIS countries, sales of the HondaJet have been open since July 2016. AIM OF EMPEROR is a diversified group of companies that is a dealer of HondaJet aircraft (Authorized Sales Representative of HondaJet Central Europe in Russia and CIS), which sells the latest innovative Japanese business jet to the Russian and CIS markets. The AIM OF EMPEROR Group is also accepting applications for the updated version of the HondaJet Elite.
