According to the latest report from GAMA (General Aviation Manufacturers Association), in 2020, the HondaJet is once again the most delivered business jet in its class (VLJ – very light jet). At the end of the year, Honda Aircraft delivered 31 aircraft to customers from all over the world (a year earlier, the manufacturer delivered 36 aircraft, ed.). It is noteworthy that in 2017, 2018 and 2019, HondaJet also topped the rating in the class of ultralight business jets.

In Russia and the CIS countries, sales of the HondaJet have been open since July 2016. Recall that on September 16, 2020, the Federal Air Transport Agency (FAVT) issued a Russian type certificate for the light business jet Honda NA-420. The agency has also issued a type certificate for the GE Honda Aero HF120 power plants, which are equipped with a business jet.

In January of this year, Honda Aircraft announced the start of work at the newly opened HondaJet Elite business jet wing manufacturing and service plant, located at the company's headquarters at Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina. New plant with an area of 7600 sq. M. is the latest addition to Honda Aircraft's own 54-hectare manufacturing facility. The company began construction of the new facility at the end of July 2019 and completed construction in September 2020. Investment in the wing plant was $ 24.3 million, bringing the total capital investment in North Carolina to over $ 245 million.
