On July 20, 2018, the Nikolaev International Airport for the first time in the last 5 years hosted the first international flight from Istanbul. It was a business flight of a private jet HondaJet manufactured by the Japanese aircraft manufacturer Honda Aircraft. The demonstration flight, which took place as part of the international road show HondaJet, became possible thanks to the cooperation of business aviation companies SKY Handling and Aim of Emperor.
The presentation of the newest HondaJet took place in the renewed terminal of the Nikolaev International Airport. The closed display of a light jet aircraft, which first flew to Ukraine, was attended by Valentin Gaidarzhi, deputy chairman of the Nikolaev regional state administration, and Fyodor Barna, acting director of the Nikolaev International Airport. Irakli Litanishvili, the owner of the aircraft and the head of Aim of Emperor, introduced the distinguished guests to the peculiarities of the HondaJet.
The newest lightweight HondaJet from the Japanese company Honda Aircraft is a business jet for every day. It accommodates up to 5 passengers and is certified to operate 1 pilot. The aircraft develops a cruising speed of up to 777 km / h with a practical flight range of over 2200 km. The HondaJet is equipped with Garmin's most advanced navigation system, the G3000, with a glass cockpit featuring three 14-inch displays with full touch controls. Passengers will be pleasantly surprised by a full-fledged toilet cubicle with an elegant cobalt blue washbasin; there is no separate room not only in classmates, but also in planes of a higher class. The HondaJet has a spacious luggage compartment that is even more spacious than in light business jets.
In Ukraine, sales of the HondaJet have been open since July 2016. SKY Handling is a partner of Aim of Emperor and accepts applications for both the HondaJet and the updated version of the HondaJet Elite, which was announced by Honda Aircraft in May 2018 at EBACE.
