Honda Aircraft Announces Avionics Upgrade & Upgrade Package for HondaJet HA-420
Honda Aircraft has announced a package of avionics updates and upgrades for the HondaJet HA-420. The New Performance and Modifications Group (APMG) has engineered an update that will allow HondaJet owners to upgrade their aircraft with several new software features. The announcement was made at the 2018 NBAA Show.
The Upgrade Package offers current HondaJet owners the opportunity to bring the latest Honda Aircraft enhancements to their aircraft; among them – a shorter take-off distance, increased maximum take-off weight and more flight options. The package also contains many software updates for the Garmin G3000 avionics, including improved integrated take-off / landing (TOLD) calculations, improved compatibility with Flight Stream 510, and an expanded electronic checklist.

The HondaJet has many certifications worldwide, including the United States (Federal Aviation Administration), Europe (European Aviation Safety Agency), Mexico (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), Canada (Canadian Aviation Authority), Brazil (National Civil Aviation Agency) Argentina (National Civil Aviation Council) and Panama (Panama Aviation Authority). The latest Honda Aircraft, the HondaJet Elite, is also certified in the US and Europe.
