Honda Aircraft has announced that the HondaJet Elite business jet has received a type certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). This approval will allow the manufacturer to begin shipping the HondaJet Elite to China later this year through local HondaJet dealer Honsan General Aviation Co.
“Since we came to China, we have received several orders and have prioritized sales throughout China. We will continue to contribute to the business aviation market with the HondaJet, ”said Michimasa Fujino, President and CEO of Honda Aircraft. “We are delighted that our customers will soon be able to receive their aircraft and are confident that the HondaJet Elite will provide them with more efficient and comfortable travel.”
Honsan General Aviation CEO Dr. Cheng Qian added, “The HondaJet Elite is now certified in China and we are delighted to begin delivering aircraft to our Chinese customers. The market has reached a turning point here and I believe the HondaJet will revitalize the aviation business. ”
This certification complements HondaJet Elite approvals worldwide, including FAA, EASA, Mexico, Brazil, India, Japan and Canada. More than 130 HondaJet aircraft are currently in service.
