The newest light business jet HondaJet Elite was received in August by the Formula 1 racing team Scuderia Alpha Tauri, which is owned by the Austrian concern Red Bull. The first delivery of Honda Aircraft to a Formula 1 racing team is a synergy of speed and high technology both in the sky and on the ground. The HondaJet is a real sports car, leaving competitors far behind in its speed characteristics.
The livery of the HondaJet Elite visually repeats the famous style of the Scuderia Alpha Tauri team, for which the famous Russian race car driver and Formula 1 pilot Daniil Kvyat stands. It is expected that he and other pilots of the team will fly to the races in the new branded business jet.
In May 2018, at the European Business Aviation Exhibition EVACE 2018, the Honda Aircraft Company presented an upgraded version of the light aircraft, which was named the HondaJet Elite. The updated aircraft received an increased flight range by 17% (+396 km) and is equipped with a newly developed noise-absorbing air intake, which can significantly reduce the frequency noise of the engines, improving noise insulation in the cabin. In addition, the new aircraft's advanced avionics system includes additional performance management features for optimal flight planning, as well as automatic stabilization and protection features to enhance flight safety.
