Skyservice Business Aviation, a Canadian business jet broker, has sold seven aircraft in the past 12 weeks, a record for the light business jets and turboprop segment, he said.
Representatives of the company attributed the growth in sales to the convenience and safety of private aviation. These are “attributes that are in great demand in the current pandemic,” said Line Barbo, vice president of business aviation at Skyservice.
In particular, some of the aircraft sold during this period included the 2004 Bombardier Learjet 45XR, 2019 HondaJet Elite, 2017 HondaJet, 2008 Beechcraft King Air 350, 1974 King Air C90 and 2017 Cessna Citation M2.
An accredited dealer and member of the International Aircraft Dealers Association, Skyservice is also the exclusive Honda Aircraft dealer for Canada. He operates facilities in Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal and Muskoka, which also provide FBO, aircraft management and charter services.
