Cutter Aviation delivers 20th HondaJet to customer
As it became known to BizavNews, Cutter Aviation, the oldest company in the United States for servicing business aviation flights, and also an authorized sales and service center for Honda Aircraft in the United States (Carlsbad, Phoenix, Dallas and San Antonio) handed over the twentieth HondaJet business jet to the client. The transferred aircraft is made in the Elite version, which was presented this year at the EVACE-2018 exhibition.
Honda HA-420 The HondaJet can accommodate up to six passengers and is certified to operate one pilot. Despite its small size, the aircraft develops a cruising speed of up to 422 knots (777 km / h) with a practical flight range of over 2,200 km. Of particular interest are the over-wing HondaJet engines, which increase luggage space, reduce cabin noise, especially during takeoff and landing, and reduce drag.
In October, Honda Aircraft announced a package of updates and avionics upgrades for the HondaJet HA-420. The New Performance and Modifications Group (APMG) has engineered an update that will allow HondaJet owners to upgrade their aircraft with several new software features.
The Upgrade Package offers current HondaJet owners the opportunity to bring the latest Honda Aircraft enhancements to their aircraft; among them – a shorter take-off distance, increased maximum take-off weight and more flight options. The package also contains many software updates for the Garmin G3000 avionics, including improved integrated take-off / landing (TOLD) calculations, improved compatibility with Flight Stream 510, and an expanded electronic checklist.
Honda Aircraft also announced that the HondaJet and HondaJet Elite have received type certifications from the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of India (DGCA). The HondaJet has many certifications worldwide, including the United States (Federal Aviation Administration), Europe (European Aviation Safety Agency), Mexico (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), Canada (Canadian Aviation Authority), Brazil (National Civil Aviation Agency) Argentina (National Civil Aviation Council) and Panama (Panama Aviation Authority). The latest Honda Aircraft, the HondaJet Elite, is also certified in the US and Europe.
Honda Aircraft has established a worldwide dealer network of Authorized Aircraft Dealerships to provide the highest level of service and support for HondaJet customers covering territories in North America, Europe, South America, Southeast Asia, China, India, the Middle East and Japan. In 2017 and the first half of 2018, the HondaJet, built at the Honda Aircraft Company plant in Greensboro, became the most delivered aircraft in its class.
