First two vehicles delivered to Wing Spirit<\/p>\n
Honda Aircraft Company has delivered the first two HondaJet Elite aircraft to Hawaii for new operator Wing Spirit. The official ceremony took place last week at Daniel C. Inouye International Airport. <\/p>\n

Wing Spirit plans to use new aircraft to transport between the islands. In the future, the company may become the first medical-configuration HondaJet operator. Also, the operator's top management views the HondaJet Elite as a “flying training desk” for training Hawaiian pilots.<\/p>\n
Unveiled last May, the Elite offers a 200 pound increase in payload and a range increase of up to 1,437 nautical miles, a 17% increase over the original HondaJet.<\/p>\n
According to Honda Aircraft, more than 125 HondaJet aircraft are currently in operation in the world. The operational reliability indicator is 99.7%.<\/p>\n
Announced at EBACE 2018 in May, the HondaJet Elite features extended range and a newly developed noise-dampening air intake that significantly reduces engine frequency noise while improving cabin noise. In addition, the new aircraft's advanced avionics system includes additional performance management features for optimal flight planning, as well as automatic stabilization and protection features to enhance flight safety.<\/p>\n
